Danielle Llevada is a Cuban-American creative dedicated to telling a great story whether it’s on stage, on screen, or in her living room. Offbeat and mischievous, Danielle’s work often tinkers with mental health, dysfunctional families, and unlikely human connections.
As a screenwriting fellow with the Pritzker Pucker Studio Lab, Danielle developed an original pilot exploring depression and escapism, earning her the 2023 Fletcher Research Award in Social Science and Journalism. She is the librettist for the post-apocalyptic, folk-pop musical, Last Song on Earth. Danielle is also an actor, dancer, and vocalist.
Miami born and bred, Danielle is a proud alumna of New World School of the Arts. She holds a BA in Theatre and Business Institutions from Northwestern University and is currently based in Chicago.
